Interesting fact:
Did you know that the Southern right whales are currently doing their annual migration up the South African coastline and will be frequenting the waters around Cape St Francis and St Francis Bay for the next few weeks.

The package includes two nights accommodation for two people sharing at Hartley House on the canals. Saturday morning you will go on a whale and dolphin excursion with St Francis Safaris where you will get to see the beautiful southern right whales and local dolphins in their natural habitat. Saturday afternoon weather dependent we will take you for the two harbour walk or you can relax at Hartley House and enjoy the views sights and sounds of the canals or catch up with your favourite book. You will end the day on Saturday with a sunset cruise around the St Francis Bay canals.

Sunday morning, we will head out on a guided walk from the Cape St Francis lighthouse onto the wild side trails where you will get to experience extraordinarily rich plant and animal life. The plant species here are recognised as one of only six Plant or Floral Kingdoms in the world. Known as the Cape Floral Kingdom, it is home to 9,000 plant species, 70% of which grow nowhere else in the world (i.e. endemic to the Cape).
